I took a huge step back from content development so I could settle into a new pastorate at Alex Southern Baptist Chapel. Thinking about my content ministry for the next year, 2026, I checked the numbers. To my surprise, listener and reader engagement has increased, not decreased, as I’ve taken it easy. I’m not sure why anyone chooses to listen to or read my stuff, but I want to take the time to thank you for tuning in. It truly is humbling, especially since I don’t feel like I have anything new or especially profound to say. I will continue publishing in 2026, and have some exciting news about the Andrew Paul Cannon podcast.

In season 2, I want to get back to doing what I have done in other podcasts I have hosted by having conversations with others about ministry, exposition, and theology. I will be publishing once per week instead of three times per week so I can give most of my attention to pastoring in my local church. Episodes will be published on Thursdays. I will post a primer on this blog leading up to each episode to introduce the topic. You can subscribe to this blog to get a sneak peak each week, or simply subscribe to the podcast, and each new episode will hit your phone when it is published. I hope these conversations will benefit you.
